Trocar systems
Trocars are medical instruments used to create sharp or blunt access to a body orifice. Our trocars are based on a highly flexible design, allowing the trocar system to be configured as required.
SPiTZ offers MultiPort and SiliPort trocar systems. Thorascopy and safety trocars are also available.
All SPiTZ trocars are reusable, making them a sustainable, ecological and economical choice.

The Siliport system is a specialised, lightweight trocar system designed for trocars ranging from 5 to 13 mm in diameter.

The stainless steel multiport system is easy to clean because it can be completely dismantled. As it is reusable, the multiport system makes an important contribution to reducing hospital waste.

In addition to standard sizes, SPiTZ offers trocars in 3.5 mm and 15 mm, as well as reducing sleeves and other accessories.

A flexible trocar system designed for use with curved instruments, particularly in thoracic surgery.

This technology has strong advantages in avoiding iatrogenic injuries when placing the first trocar. The tip of the trocar is designed to penetrate the musculature and the peritoneum. As soon as the tip enters the abdominal cavity, a protective mechanism activates to prevent injury to the surrounding organs.

Veress cannulas measuring 2.0 and 2.7 mm, available in various lengths, for insufflation prior to laparoscopy.
